My dog keeps walking into my room slowly and licking one of my toes that are hanging off my bed and then slowly creeping out of the room. She’s done this maybe 12 times now. In this picture, I’ve caught her in the act of sneaking in.
Anonymous asked: what friend that you no longer speak to do you miss the most?
I’m afraid that the anon asking this question is in fact one of my old friends that I no longer speak to…hoping that I say his/her name… So the pressure is definitely on.
BUT, I feel like all of my friendships that ended and have simmered down to a bare minimum or a bare nothing, are that way for a reason. Either separation in distance or in common grounds…something happened that had to happen you know? So I definitely miss every single one of my friends because they were also my friends for a reason—all great people with beautiful spirits and the ability to make me laugh and smile and be happy…
You probably asked this question for specific names, not just a vague paragraph about the ending of friendships. BUT, this is my blog and I’m not going to just give you what you want, so HA!
The true definition of “brothers”. Genetically speaking. Feel free to insert any customizable adjectives concerning the magnificent beauty of their faces.dead 😍😲
IDK about ya’ll but I thought this cover was so unique, chilling, and fantastic! Its great how you can tell from his smile that he knows his cover is totally rocking and also that he’s about to burst out laughing from realizing what song is actually coming out of his mouth hahaha
I hate being the only one talking and constantly asking questions. It makes me smile seeing a person actually putting their own effort into the conversation as well!
People can be so awesome sometimes :)
COURAGE, BREATH, & FIRE : The only thing I would probably get tattooed.
When things were tough and a bit bleak during my sophomore slump I remember I found myself writing these three things everywhere—on my arms, legs, papers, textbooks, etc. And these three simple words gave me unbelievable amounts of strength. Because to me, the only things that I person truly needs in them are courage, breath, and fire.
COURAGE in that we must learn to live fearlessly, banish anything that used to or still scares you and conquer it. Courage is key and with it, you no longer have limitations and blockages! You can be free to do anything you wish and pursue any endeavors without fear of failure or sadness, heartbreak or defeat. With bravery and confidence, anything is possible. Literally.
BREATH in the literal sense that without it, we would be dead. Every single breath we take is a gift and a miracle—every single time you inhale a sweet lungful of air, you are alive, thriving, and there is hope. But also in a poetic sense that we all NEED to take a deep breath once in a while, take a “breather”, take 5… a moment of peace. Take a breath and be calm, look within yourself, analyze the situation, diminish it’s superiority over you… Breathing is an art. Meditation is circled almost entirely on breathing and exploring within yourself. How can you expect anything but wonderful things from a person who breathes, is rational, spiritually-expanded, and peaceful? We all need to remember to breathe. No situation is as bad as it seems, you just need to be calm and look at it from a clearer perspective.
FIRE should be a main component in everything that you do. Fire as in passion and love and fervor and emotion and fury and personality. A fire is powerful and impossible to match. When imagining flames licking up at the sky, a wildfire burning and ravaging through everything, you can compare that to yourself. Do the work that you love with a fire inside of you that burns uniquely and with strength, love with a fire that burns eternally and without fail. Fire is free, without boundaries, fearsome but also beautiful and strong.
These three things—the ability to be bold and courageous, the skill of breathing and finding peace, and the art of applying passion and fire—are such incredible things that I feel are the keys to a complete human being.
I just thought I should share this with you guys!
